Job Description
- An outstanding opportunity exists to join the Local Regulatory Reporting team responsible for all Swap Dealer regulatory and financial reporting. This position is an Associate level opening responsible for the following:
- Preparation and analytical review of the Firm's monthly National Futures Association (NFA) Form CSE-BHC filing ( Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Capital and Counterparty Credit Risk Schedules).
- Daily monitoring of the firm's Capital position ensuring compliance with CFTC and NFA notification requirements
- Ensure on-going compliance with all existing and emerging regulatory and US GAAP reporting requirements of a registered Swap Dealer.
- Work closely with internal and external audit teams, regulators and examiners to provide/coordinate responses to information requests.
- Work with Finance, Operations and Risk to further develop and document the Swap Dealer's internal control framework to ensure compliance with Regulatory expectations and prepare for future NFA examinations.
- Development of policy, procedure and control documentation supporting the Swap Dealer's internal control framework
- Responsible for the preparation of Finance package used for Quarterly Board of Director meetings
The Successful Applicant
- Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA a plus
- Experience working with auditors and US regulator examiners a plus
- At least 5+ years of relevant working experience
- Very good analytical skills and knowledge of derivatives
- Ability to perform under pressure and react/reprioritize quickly
- Excellent (written/verbal) communication and organization skills are required;
- Proactive, team player and hands-on;
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, VBA, Word, PowerPoint (Python a plus)
