Job Description

Key Responsibilities



  • Collaboration with Teams: Partner with stakeholders across legal, technical, and business units to communicate findings, address risks, and facilitate informed decision-making.


  • Risk Management: Lead assessments on data and AI projects, proposing strategies to mitigate potential risks.


  • Policy Implementation: Create and update AI governance policies in alignment with organizational standards and industry regulations.


  • Ethical AI Practices: Advocate for fairness, transparency, and accountability in the firm's AI initiatives.


  • Security Consultation: Work alongside information security experts to manage risks specific to AI technologies.


  • Compliance Monitoring: Track adherence to policies and provide guidance to ensure compliance with data governance frameworks.


  • Training Programs: Develop training materials to increase awareness of best practices and risks in data and AI usage.


  • Reporting and Metrics: Collaborate on the creation of metrics and key indicators to monitor risk across AI programs and data governance efforts.

The Successful Applicant

Required Qualifications



  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree (or equivalent expertise).


  • 6+ years in operational risk management, including exposure to areas like technology risk, information risk, or model risk.


  • 2-5 years in leadership or management, demonstrating the ability to guide teams and drive initiatives.


  • Expertise in data management techniques and AI technologies such as machine learning, natural language processing, and large language models.


  • Knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and industry standards (e.g., NIST, IEEE, ISO guidelines).


  • Excellent collaboration and communication abilities, with a focus on building relationships across teams.
