About Our Client

Due to continued growth and investment a leading provider of commercial and industrial services require a high performing Managing Director to take responsibility for their UK market. The group is a recognised market leader in their home region with a multi billion turnover and serving over 2 million customers a year throughout their 700 locations.

Over the last 5 years the UK has been identified as a strategic region for growth and as a result a number of company acquisitions have already been completed. The successful Managing Director will be tasked with the future growth of the UK through both organic and continued acquisition growth whilst building an infrastructure to become a leading national services business to secure local and national contracts within commercial clients.

Job Description

· Create and deliver a clear sales strategy that considers the opinions and perspectives of others to drive positive engagement. Achieving all sales, margin and growth targets

· Maintain and develop regional business and brands in line with the strategy, to maximise the growth opportunities. Including the effective integration and performance of acquired companies

· Inclusive style with the ability to help develop and mentor senior management reports and the wider commercial team

· Ability to understand sales processes and look at new ways to digitalise the business and offer innovative nonstandard solutions

· Undertake strategic review of markets, company competitors and opportunities for profitable growth

· Direct and control the allocation of the customer portfolio between regional sales teams, and enforce completion of CRM data and pricing tools to lead best practice across the business

The Successful Applicant

· Broad experience within a B2B sales multi service offering , multi sector sales environment ideally with a track record of a' buy and build strategy transforming a portfolio of regional service providers into a leading national business

· Strong entrepreneurial skills with demonstrable experience of leading, mentoring and developing an established sales organisation

· Excellent communication skills with natural ability to work at all levels of an organisation

· A deep understanding of a Sales function which operate across several different divisions

· Gravitas to undertake senior customer engagements and relationship management

· Demonstrable commercial leadership experience developing customer focused solutions across multiple market channels

· Ambitious and high calibre individual with potential to progress career into large commercial or general management roles

· The role could suit an executive with a successful PE background and experience of business growth through strategic acquisitions
