My client is a boutique commercial real estate development firm with overseas backing. They have partnered exclusively with Page Group to secure their next Vice President of Asset Management.

Job Description

Reporting directly into the Head of Asset Management for this commercial real estate firm, the Vice President of Asset Management is responsible for working with investors, finance and property teams to manage a successful portfolio of commercial real estate properties. The role will drive the overall performance of the portfolio assets to the highest level possible. Main duties and responsibilities will include the following:

  • Develop and implement strategic asset management plans to maximize property value and investment returns.
  • Oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of commercial real estate assets, ensuring optimal performance and profitability.
  • Lead asset acquisition and disposition strategies, including market analysis, due diligence, and transaction execution.
  • Coordinate with property management teams to enhance property operations, tenant relations, and leasing activities.
  • Monitor financial performance of assets, prepare regular financial reports, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and partners.
  • Conduct regular portfolio reviews to identify opportunities for value-add initiatives, redevelopment, or repositioning.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the development team on new projects, providing input on design, budgeting, and feasibility.
  • Lead a team of asset management professionals, providing mentorship, training, and performance evaluations.

The Successful Applicant

In return for a competitive remuneration package, the successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/ Business/ Real Estate or relevant field
  • 5+ years of successful experience in commercial real estate asset management
  • Ability to work at least 3 days/ week in office in Boston, MA.

What's on Offer

  • Base salary of $ 175,000 to $ 180,000
  • Performance related bonus scheme: 15% to 20%
