About Our Client

This Established Real Estate Development Firm are looking for their Vice President of Development, ideally with a background in across multiple asset classes, to oversee a portfolio of large-scale development projects in the Washington DC region. You will oversee the complete lifecycle of the projects; from inception all the way through to completion.

Job Description

  • Full responsibility for the entire development lifecycle of multiple, major development projects
  • Overseeing day to day project management for multiple and upcoming projects, across multiple asset classes
  • Managing the entitlements process, design team, consultants, internal team, budgeting, reporting and general contractors
  • Obtain all relevant project permits and approvals
  • Budgeting & scheduling
  • Working closely with the company owners, as well as the Investments & Asset Management executives

The Successful Applicant

  • 10-12+ years Real Estate Development projects experience
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Engineering, Architecture or similar
  • Proven experience as the lead on multiple, large development projects; entitlements to closeout
  • Experience working in the Washington DC market
  • Ideally you would have experience with multiple asset classes, EG Multifamily, Mixed-Use, Industrial, Data Centers
