Job Description

As the company prepares for the next wave of growth, we are seeking a transformative leader to head the Global Oncology Franchise, with full ownership of commercial strategy, portfolio management, and global sales leadership, including new product pre-launch and launch execution. This leader will play a central role in preparing and delivering blockbuster oncology launches across key markets, particularly UK, Europe and the United States, while also familiar with the culture from China, and Asia.

  • Lead the global commercial and sales strategy for the oncology franchise, with full P&L ownership.
  • Oversee new product pre-launch planning, including market shaping, disease awareness, stakeholder engagement, early access programs, and field readiness.
  • Partner with R&D, medical affairs, and regulatory to shape Target Product Profiles (TPPs) and influence asset development from early phases.
  • Develop go-to-market strategy for pipeline and in-line oncology assets, ensuring global alignment and regional adaptability.
  • Drive launch excellence for upcoming oncology assets in Europe and the U.S., coordinating efforts across marketing, field force, market access, and medical.
  • Collaborate with regional sales teams to align commercial priorities, execution tactics, and performance tracking.
  • Evaluate and prioritize pipeline assets and lifecycle investments based on commercial potential and strategic fit.
  • Build business cases and revenue projections to support decision-making at executive and board levels.
  • Monitor evolving market dynamics and adjust launch and portfolio strategies accordingly.
  • Cultivate key external relationships with KOLs, payers, advocacy groups, and alliance partners.

The Successful Applicant

  • 15+ years of experience in commercial leadership, including sales, marketing, and franchise/P&L ownership, ideally within Oncology.
  • Demonstrated success in leading new product pre-launch and global launch of oncology assets in Europe and/or the U.S.
  • Deep understanding of the European market landscape, such as the UK, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a complex, matrixed global organization.
  • Strong strategic thinking, team leadership, and operational execution capabilities.
  • Track record of engaging C-suite and board-level stakeholders.
  • Experience from Asia/China markets is a plus.
  • Advanced degree in business (MBA), medicine, or life sciences(MS, PhD, MD).
  • Experience in both large pharma and biotech environments is preferred.
  • Multilingual (especially European languages) is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel globally as needed.
