Operating accross multiple locations in China, they are seeking a Shanghai based talent to lead strategy and operations of the R&D Centre.Job DescriptionEstablish Research and Development Innovation Centre in ShanghaiFormulate and execute R&D Strategy for Innovative Drug PipelineAs part of Leadership team work closely with the Chairman, Chief Medical Officer and Chief Business Officer to ensure smooth progress towards strategic goalHire, train and lead R&D Team in Shanghai including Chemistry, Biology, CMC, Translational and other functionsThe Successful Applicant15 - 20 years of relevant experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, including senior level leadership experience.Prior experience in the field of immunology and metabolic disesases is preferredIn the early stage of the career, experience from project initiation to completion of PCC, and after the management position, bringing 2-3 innovative drug products from project initiation all the way to INDPhD, PharmD or similar degree in a life science field from an accredited institution required with strong biology exposurePrior experience building out drug discovery capabilities and overseeing a drug discovery team desired.Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to effectively communicate concepts and ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.Effective interpersonal skills.
