Job Description
- Become an expert of portfolio, manage full cycle of transactions, navigate internal approval process, and own the credit approval process.
- Lead the underwriting of complex transactions including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures
- Create credit recommendations
- Mentor junior Credit Professionals
- Support the broader Credit Team on continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage large corporate portfolios including covenant monitoring, early action memo on critical events, and periodic borrower reviews
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Finance, Accounting, Management or Economics
- 7+ YOE with underwriting loan transactions and portfolio management
- Strong financial modeling and analytic skills
- Experience with corporate valuation including Discounted Cash Flows analysis
- Ability to influence others, including management, through presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
