About Our Client

My client is a top tier, very well-funded Web3 company. The team is famous for its cutting-edge tech and assembled a very strong developer community. In order to bring their products and solutions to a wide range of Web3 native customers, we are looking for a visionary Vice President of Global Business Development (m/f/d), based in Europe, to lead and build out the global BD team.

Job Description

  • Lead the development and execution of the business development plan to drive the adoption of the company's products
  • Conduct a thorough market analysis and mapping to identify key opportunities and target segments for product adoption within the Blockchain industry
  • Cultivate relationships with potential partners, clients, and stakeholders to
  • promote the products and facilitate the development of substantial platform activity
  • Introduce and implement project management tools, KPIs, and performance
  • metrics to track progress and measure the success of BD initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including product, marketing, and
  • engineering, to align BD strategies with overall company objectives and priorities
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management based on market trends, competitor analysis, and customer feedback
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking
  • opportunities to raise awareness and drive engagement
  • Recruit and grow the BD team

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience in business development at a leading Layer1 or Layer2 or alternatively at a top exchange (candidates without prior experience at a Top100 web3 company, won't receive interviews)
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience in recruiting, managing & motivating teams
  • Track record of identifying & capitalizing on market opportunities to drive business growth in the Blockchain industry
  • While the role is 100% remote, it requires regular travels to meet the team and to attend industry leading events
