About Our Client

Our Client is one of the rapidly growing international retail chains for which we are looking for a Warehouse Manager.

Job Description

  1. Responsible for the overall warehouse operational activities and performance
  2. Reporting to the Management on every aspect of the warehouse operations & performance
  3. Produce reports and statistics regularly for reporting to the Management. Manage the expenses align to the annual budget on every aspect of the warehouse operations
  4. Ensure warehouse operate in compliance with the legislation's requirements
  5. Responsible for efficient space utilization based on the stock forecast and future expansion plans
  6. Enforce optimal operational policies and procedures for the warehouse
  7. Getting involved in team recruitment
  8. Conduct Annual Appraisal and setting the KPI for the team
  9. Provide feedback to the supplier for packaging and shipment improvement
  10. Liaise with suppliers and transport companies for improvement in all warehousing aspects
  11. Manage the warehouse expenses and always seeking options for cost competitiveness
  12. Manage inventory and reconcile with system for any variances and improvements opportunity
  13. Identifying the areas of improvements and conduct training for the team
  14. Implementing new procedures for improvements of every aspects in the warehouse operations

The Successful Applicant

  1. Minimum 12 years working experience in Warehouse and Logistics operations management
  2. Minimum 6 years of people management experience
  3. University degree (preferably from Engineering or Supply Chain and Logistics)
  4. Experienced in Inventory and Warehouse Management
  5. Ability to execute Manpower Management
  6. Familiar with ERP / WMS Systems and Microsoft Office
  7. Experiences in team management and embrace positive working attitude & teamwork
  8. Result & Detail oriented
  9. Good interpersonal and communication skills
  10. Good in problem solving skills and decision making
  11. High sense of responsibility and urgency
