Job Description

The Operations Director is a critical divisional leadership role within this new structure. The Operations Director takes full and clear ownership of day-to-day physical operations across all UK sites - providing the operational discipline, people leadership and financial accountability required to deliver consistently excellent results for customers and the business.Multi-site operations across the UKOperational & Driver Leadership

*Accountable for safe, compliant and efficient driver performance across all UK operations, protecting people, assets and reputation

*Ensure fleet utilisation and service performance consistently meet agreed KPIs across all UK sites and depots

The Successful Applicant

*Proven experience of progressive leadership experience in logistics, transportation or supply chain operations

*Proven track record managing fleet-based transport operations in a multi-site UK environment

*Strong P&L management experience with clear personal accountability for operational financial performance

*Deep knowledge of UK transport regulations, health and safety legislation and compliance best practices

*Demonstrated experience managing driver and depot teams to consistently high safety and performance standards

*Experience leading operational teams through periods of growth, change or transformation

*Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
