Job Description

This is a principal-level role working in close partnership with the CIO and investment team, focused on integrating AI into the core research and decision-making process.Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy LLM-driven tools to enhance investment research workflows
  • Build a unified data layer integrating internal and external structured and unstructured datasets
  • Design and implement scalable AI infrastructure, including model serving, retrieval systems, and data pipelines
  • Partner with investment professionals to identify and evaluate high-impact AI applications
  • Advance select initiatives toward production-grade systems suitable for investment use



The Successful Applicant

  • Strong experience building applied LLM systems (agents, retrieval, orchestration)
  • Full-stack capability with ability to deliver end-to-end solutions independently
  • Solid grounding in data engineering and cloud-based infrastructure
  • Judgement to balance technical rigor with speed and practical utility
  • Clear communicator, comfortable operating in a small, high-performing team



Additional Experience (Preferred)

  • Exposure to financial markets or investment research environments
  • Familiarity with market data, filings, and related information sources
  • Experience designing systems where reliability and data integrity are critical
