Job Description

  • Draft, review, and negotiate finance-related legal documents and agreements.
  • Provide legal counsel to clients on complex financial transactions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Support client-facing projects, ensuring deliverables meet high standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis on financial and legal matters to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and trends relevant to the professional services industry.
  • Assist with risk assessment and mitigation strategies for client transactions.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes within the legal department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • 2-7+ years of experience in finance transactions.
  • Strong experience in leveraged finance or similar complex financing
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and precision.
