Job Description

  • Develop and implement supply chain and manufacturing strategies aligned with organisational goals.
  • Oversee procurement processes to ensure cost efficiency and compliance with regulations.
  • Manage supplier relationships to maintain quality and timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Monitor and optimise inventory levels to balance cost and availability.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to improve supply chain processes and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Analyse data to forecast demand and plan production schedules effectively.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards throughout the supply chain.
  • Report on supply chain performance and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Supply Chain and Manufacturing should have:

  • A strong background in supply chain management, manufacturing, or procurement within appliance industry.
  • Proven ability to lead and implement strategic initiatives across supply chain operations.
  • Experience in managing supplier contracts and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and demand forecasting techniques.
  • Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Analytical skills to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills to guide teams and stakeholders.
