They ensure the smooth functioning of all departments (rooms division, restaurant, bar, and spa), guarantee a high level of guest satisfaction, and drive the overall profitability of the hotel.

About Our Client

Iconic property located in Val D´Aosta, Italy. The hotel has recently undergone full refurbishment and is now operating as a luxury lifestyle hotel offering access to the ski slopes.

Job Description

  1. General Management
    * Develop and implement strategies to enhance the hotel's performance and profitability.
    * Ensure compliance with quality standards and local regulations.
  2. Guest Services
    * Maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.
    * Address complaints and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
    * Implement loyalty programs and personalized services.
  3. Human Resources
    * Plan, recruit, train, and supervise staff.
    * Foster a positive work environment.
    * Develop employees' skills and promote internal growth opportunities.
  4. Finance / P&L
    * Prepare and manage the hotel's budget.
    * Analyze financial performance and implement corrective actions if necessary.
    * Optimize costs while maintaining service quality.
  5. Marketing & PR
    * Develop marketing strategies to attract and retain guests.
    * Collaborate with travel agencies and tour operators.
    * Organize events and promotions to increase the hotel's visibility.
    * Work with local community / authorities to integrate the hotel locally.
  6. Commercial & Revenue Management
    * Define and implement pricing and revenue strategies to maximize occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR.
    * Monitor market trends, competitor performance, and demand patterns.
    * Manage distribution channels (OTA, direct, partnerships) to optimize revenue mix.
    * Collaborate with sales and marketing to drive commercial performance and brand positioning.
  7. Facilities Management
    * Ensure the maintenance and upkeep of the hotel.
    * Ensure the safety of guests and staff.
    * Manage relationships with suppliers and service providers.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Hotel Manager, Heads of department / Director of Operations, with proven experience, a luxury seasonal destination
  • Experience in a seasonal / mountain destination a must
  • Experience working for a privately owned hotel a plus
  • Sport / mountain lover
  • Degree in Hotel management
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills in Italian and English (knowledge of an additional language is a plus).
  • In-depth knowledge of hotel management tools and reservation systems.
  • Strong customer service and satisfaction orientation.
