Job Description

  • Provide legal counsel on matters related to investment management and regulatory compliance.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate agreements, disclosures, and other legal documents.
  • Advise on SEC, FINRA, and other regulatory requirements impacting the investment management industry.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Support business development by identifying and mitigating legal risks in new initiatives.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the professional services industry.
  • Assist in managing disputes and litigation related to investment management operations.
  • Provide training and guidance on compliance and legal best practices.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • A law degree and admission to the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Strong knowledge of SEC and FINRA regulations related to investment management.
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills for legal documents.
  • Ability to provide practical legal advice in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in the professional services industry or a similar setting.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
