It offers the scale of a large multinational while providing the opportunity to shape strategy and growth in multiple therapeutic areas.Job DescriptionGlobal Market Access Strategy· Develop and execute comprehensive global market access and pricing strategies for commercial and development-stage assets.· Shape payer value propositions to maximize reimbursement and patient access across major global markets (US, EU, Japan, Australia).· Lead pre-launch and launch access planning to support successful product commercialization.HEOR & Evidence Generation Leadership· Direct the development of health economic models, budget impact analyses, cost-effectiveness assessments, literature reviews, and observational research.· Lead innovative real-world evidence initiatives that strengthen value demonstration and payer engagement strategies.· Ensure market access evidence generation aligns with regulatory and commercial objectives.Global Market and Policy Insights· Monitor evolving healthcare policy, reimbursement frameworks, and HTA requirements across key markets.· Provide executive-level guidance on reimbursement opportunities, risks, and evolving payer dynamics.· Position the organization to proactively address changes in global access environments.Cross-Functional Leadership· Partner closely with Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Commercial, Regulatory Affairs, and regional leadership teams.· Ensure access strategies are embedded throughout product development and lifecycle planning.· Build strong alignment across global and country-level stakeholders.External Stakeholder Engagement· Develop and maintain relationships with payers, HTA bodies, healthcare decision-makers, academic leaders, and external experts.· Lead agency selection and oversight related to market access and pricing initiatives.· Serve as a visible external advocate for the value of Sun Pharma's portfolio.Leadership & Organizational Impact· Build, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.· Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, scientific rigor, and continuous improvement.· Champion the publication and dissemination of market access evidence through peer-reviewed channels and scientific forums.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on one's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The successful executive will combine straegic vision with operational excellence and a demonstrated ability to influence complex, cross-functional organizations on a global scale.Required Experience & Qualifications· Advanced degree required; PhD, Master's degree, or equivalent in Economics, Epidemiology, Public Health, Pharmacy, Business, or a related discipline.· Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in Market Access and/or Pricing leadership roles within the biopharmaceutical industry.· Deep understanding of global payer systems and HTA processes across major markets.· Proven experience supporting innovative pharmaceutical products and specialty medicines.· Demonstrated success engaging payers and health technology assessment organizations to achieve favorable access outcomes.· Experience leading and developing high-performing global teams.Preferred Background· Therapeutic expertise in oncology and/or immunology, with additional experience in either cardio or neuro required.· Experience working across international markets with responsibility for global access strategy.· Strong track record influencing development-stage assets and launch readiness initiatives.· Experience integrating HEOR, RWE, and accessing evidence strategies into commercial decision-making.Leadership Characteristics· Strategic, enterprise-level thinking.· Strong executive influence and stakeholder management capabilities.· Scientific credibility combined with commercial acumen.· Exceptional communication and presentation skills.· A collaborative leadership style capable of operating in a highly matrixed global organization.· Passion for improving patient access and healthcare outcomes worldwide.What’s on OfferCompetitive salary ranging from $285,000 to $340,000 USD.Annual performance bonus plan.Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.Life and disability insurance.401(k) retirement plan.4 weeks of vacation.This role represents an opportunity to shape global access strategy for a leading multinational pharmaceutical organization and directly influence how innovative therapies reach patients worldwide.
