Jo is an experienced Non-Executive Director who has worked across multiple sectors in her executive and non-executive careers.

She started with a Law Degree, and whilst at university she was one of the first women ever trained to fly by the RAF. As an executive she sat on the board of the retailers Homebase and B&Q, and as well as having food, nonfood and fashion retailing experience, she also held senior roles in sectors including house building, lottery, and fast-moving consumer goods.

Her focus was marketing, digital, and consumer facing areas, including running the web businesses for both Homebase and B&Q, owning all marketing activity and game development for the UK National Lottery, and managing large advertising and communications budgets in several organisations.

She also worked for HRH, The Prince of Wales, leading a sustainability initiative as part of his household at Clarence House, before deciding to leave full time work and become a portfolio Non-ExecDirector.

As a Non-Executive Director she has had extensive board, audit and remuneration experience and is currently the Deputy Chair and Remuneration committee chair for the Coventry Building Society, and chairs the Current Account Switch Service, the Cash ISAS witch Service, and PayM (the mobile payments infrastructure) for Pay.uk.

She is also remuneration committee chair for Dwr Cymru Welsh Water and sits on the board of the FTSE 250 business Sirius Real Estate.
