Job Description

Lead the Group's general accounting function, ensuring rigorous, accurate, and timely monthly, quarterly, and
annual closes.

Define, implement, and oversee the Group's accounting policies in accordance with Spanish GAAP and international standards (IFRS or other applicable frameworks).

Oversee the preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements, ensuring consistency and technical robustness.

Ensure the quality of financial reporting provided to Senior Management, the Audit Committee, and investors.

Act as the main point of contact for external and internal auditors, coordinating audits and ensuring a strong technical approach.

Actively participate in financial and accounting due diligence processes.

Manage accounting impacts arising from corporate transactions, including M&A, restructurings, and corporate changes.
Analyze new accounting regulations and lead their proper implementation across the Group.

Optimize accounting processes, internal controls, and financial systems, with particular focus on Oracle and/or
NetSuite.

Lead, manage, and develop part of the current accounting team, largely based in the Canary Islands.

Work closely and cross-functionally with Finance, Tax, Legal, Treasury, and Compliance teams.

Work directly and on an ongoing basis with the CFO in a demanding, highly technical environment.

The Successful Applicant

University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.

Postgraduate education or professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent) highly valued.

Between ten and fifteen years of experience in accounting roles, with mandatory background in the technology sector.

Previous experience in multinational environments or complex group structures; candidates from listed companies will also be considered.

Strong and up-to-date knowledge of Spanish accounting and tax regulations.

Proven experience in financial consolidation and international accounting standards.

Track record of involvement in the creation, structuring, or transformation of accounting processes in high-growth ("build-up") environments.

Hands-on experience with Oracle and/or NetSuite is essential.

Prior experience leading accounting teams.

Full professional fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.

Strong technical rigor with a clear focus on quality and attention to detail.

A clearly hands-on, execution-driven, and solution-oriented mindset.

Firm leadership, with the ability to manage and develop senior teams in demanding environments.

Sound judgement and the ability to engage in constructive challenge with senior-level stakeholders.

Proactive, with the ability to anticipate and manage regulatory and organizational change.

Strong professional ethics and a high sense of responsibility.
