Excellent opportunity for a Contract Business Immigration Attorney / Avocat to join a prestigious law firm with a high-volume, fast-paced practice. This is a hybrid role in Montreal, Que. with 2 days in office. The position requires Quebec Bar and a US State Bar admission, and French language fluency.

About Our Client

Job Description

  • Assess the eligibility of foreign employees of companies for immigrant status in Canada.
  • Drafting, preparing and reviewing legal letters and documents, generally based on established precedents.
  • Communicate regularly with clients and foreign nationals regarding procedures, case processing and case strategy.

The Successful Applicant

  • Law degree (CAN or US)
  • Member in good standing of the Quebec Bar AND one US State Bar
  • Two years of experience in US business immigration law and Canadian immigration law
  • Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written
  • Attention to detail
