Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, this role will lead the organisation's people agenda, driving organisational culture, employee and volunteer engagement, learning and development, wellbeing, leadership capability and organisational effectiveness. This is an opportunity to help build a stronger and more sustainable future for an organisation committed to creating jobs, providing homes and building communities for veterans.As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team you will:Develop and deliver a People & Culture strategy aligned to RBVE's mission, values and business objectives.Champion and embed a positive organisational culture across the charity.Lead organisational development initiatives that strengthen collaboration, communication and effectiveness.Drive employee and volunteer engagement, wellbeing and inclusion programmes.Oversee learning and development strategies, leadership development and talent management initiatives.Lead on diversity, equity and inclusion, ensuring best practice and legislative compliance.Shape and develop the organisation's volunteering strategy, supporting volunteer attraction, engagement and retention.Ensure effective governance, people policies and employment law compliance.Act as the Safeguarding Lead and CQC Nominated Individual for the RBVE Care Agency.Lead and develop a high-performing People & Culture team (6 people).
