Job Description

  • Lead, coach, and develop a regional sales team across multiple countries within EMEA.
  • Drive sustainable revenue growth through new business acquisition and expansion of existing customer relationships.
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with business objectives and long-term growth plans.
  • Establish sales targets, KPIs, performance metrics, and forecasting processes to drive accountability and execution excellence.
  • Monitor pipeline activity, territory performance, and opportunity development to provide accurate sales forecasting.
  • Develop and implement best practices in solution-based selling, key account management, and new business development.
  • Support the negotiation and execution of complex commercial agreements and strategic customer contracts.
  • Develop pricing and commercial strategies that support both revenue growth and profitability objectives.
  • Identify new market opportunities and develop plans to increase market share across existing and target customer segments.
  • Ensure strategic account development plans are in place for key customers and growth opportunities.
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders across Marketing, Operations, Engineering, Product, Finance, Quality, and Customer Success functions.
  • Implement and continuously improve sales processes, systems, tools, and methodologies to enhance commercial effectiveness.
  • Utilise business data, analytics, CRM, ERP, and sales performance tools to improve decision-making, win rates, and customer penetration.
  • Support the resolution of critical customer issues and act as an executive sponsor for key customer relationships.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, empowerment, and high performance across the regional sales organisation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, contractual obligations, and applicable regulatory requirements.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate is an experienced sales leader with a proven record of delivering growth in a complex B2B environment. You will be commercially astute, highly strategic, and comfortable leading geographically dispersed teams while maintaining strong customer relationships. The successful candidate combines strong leadership capabilities with a disciplined approach to sales execution, forecasting, and business development.

Key requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • MBA or advanced business qualification is advantageous.
  • Significant experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams across multiple territories or regions.
  • Proven track record of delivering revenue growth through both strategic account development and new customer acquisition.
  • FAR, DFAR, ITAR knowledge required.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles, multimillion-euro commercial opportunities, and long-term customer partnerships.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing regional growth strategies within a technical or industrial B2B environment.
  • Strong background in contract negotiations and commercial agreement management.
  • Experience implementing sales processes, KPIs, forecasting disciplines, and sales effectiveness initiatives.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience using enterprise CRM and ERP platforms, preferably Salesforce CRM and Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1), to drive pipeline management, forecasting, sales analytics, and commercial performance.
  • Ability to build credibility with senior customer stakeholders and cross-functional internal teams.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to engage in solution-oriented customer discussions.
  • Knowledge of regulated industries and customer compliance requirements is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel internationally, approximately 30% of the time.
