Job Description

  • Manage engineering teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of engineering strategies and processes.
  • Ensure alignment of technical projects with organisational goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate engineering performance metrics and KPIs.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks to ensure project success.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to drive innovation and technology advantage.
  • Facilitate resource planning and allocation to meet project deadlines effectivelly.

The Successful Applicant

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.



Experience

  • Extensive background within software engineering, software architecture or enterprise technology environments.
  • Experience managing sizeable engineering organisations.
  • Track record building and scaling enterprise software platforms.
  • Exposure to high-growth technology companies, enterprise software firms, cloud technology providers or AI-focused organisations.



Technical ExpertiseStrong experience across multiple areas such as:

  • Enterprise software architecture
  • Distributed systems
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud)
  • API design and microservices
