Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsOversight of the SSCStable working environment and working hoursAbout Our ClientOur client, a reputable US multinational with decades of demonstrated success, is looking to appoint a Finance Director to lead and transform its Shared Services Centre, driving operational excellence, service quality, and continuous improvement across finance operations.Job DescriptionShared Services LeadershipLead and manage the Finance Shared Services Centre, ensuring delivery of high-quality and cost-effective services.Develop and execute the SSC strategy aligned with the company's finance transformation and growth objectives.Establish a high-performance culture focused on accountability, customer service, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.Build organizational capabilities through talent development, succession planning, and leadership coaching.Oversee end-to-end finance operations including:Procure-to-Pay (P2P)Order-to-Cash (O2C)Record-to-Report (R2R)Intercompany accountingTreasury operationsFinancial Controls & ComplianceEnsure strong internal controls and compliance with company policies, accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and audit expectations.Partner with Internal Audit, External Audit, Risk Management, and Controllership teams.Drive robust governance frameworks and compliance monitoring across all finance operations.Ensure effective management of risks related to operational processes and service delivery.Process Improvement & TransformationLead finance transformation initiatives, including process standardization, simplification, automation, and digitization.Identify opportunities to leverage technology, robotics, AI, workflow solutions, and analytics to enhance efficiency and control.Drive Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies across the SSC.Deliver productivity improvements and cost optimization programs.Stakeholder ManagementAct as the senior point of contact for business units, finance leadership, regional controllers, and external partners.Establish strong partnerships with key stakeholders to ensure business needs are effectively supported.Regularly review service performance and implement action plans for continuous enhancement.Communicate operational performance, risks, and transformation progress to senior leadership.Performance & GovernanceEstablish and monitor operational KPIs, dashboards, and service scorecards.Lead governance forums and service review meetings with key stakeholders.Manage departmental budgets and resource planning.Ensure appropriate capacity planning and workforce optimization.The Successful ApplicantDegree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.At least 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.Solid hands on experience in leading Finance Shared Services, Global Business Services (GBS), or large finance operations teams.Candidates with Big 4 audit background is a plusCandidates who have worked in US HQ businesses is a plusDemonstrated track record managing multi-functional finance processes across regional operations.Experience driving finance transformation, ERP implementations, automation, and process optimization initiatives.Experience operating within a multinational and matrix organization environment preferred.What’s on OfferCompetitive salary package for the right candidateVery stable organisation with long term career developmentChina and regional exposureContactCarly YauQuote job refJN-082026-7082167Job summaryFunctionCFO & Financial ManagementSubsectorCFO & Financial Management SubsectorIndustryIndustrialLocationKowloonContract typePermanentConsultant nameCarly YauJob referenceJN-082026-7082167
