Oversee all core finance activities including:Treasury and cash managementFinancial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)Financial and statutory accountingAccounts Payable / ReceivableLead the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and 5-year planning processes.Deliver robust financial analysis for strategic initiatives and capital investments (including DCF modelling)Partner with commercial and operational leaders to evaluate sales, pricing, and manufacturing strategiesEnsure accurate, timely financial reporting and statutory compliance across multiple UK entities.Provide oversight of tax, VAT and regulatory compliance, including group reporting requirements.Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, controls, and systems.Lead, mentor and develop the finance team, building capability and succession.Ensure maintenance and compliance with SOX controls and US GAAP reporting standards.Support financial system development and transformation initiatives.Deliver ad hoc financial insight to support executive decision-making.The Successful ApplicantWe are seeking a commercially minded, hands-on Finance Director with strong leadership capabilities and a track record in complex operating environments.Candidate profile required;A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.10+ years experience in senior finance / leadership rolesSignificant Manufacturing, Engineering, or Industrial sector exposure preferredProven ability to operate effectively within a multi-entity / international structureStrong financial control, FP&A and reporting capabilitiesExperience with US GAAP and SOX compliance highly advantageousExcellent understanding of UK tax and VAT regulationsComfortable with financial systems, data, and reporting toolsDemonstrated ability to partner and influence at Board levelStrong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial insight into operational actionHands-on, pragmatic leadership style suited to a mid-sized, multi-site organisationStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsHigh levels of organisation, analytical capability, and attention to detailCollaborative approach with the ability to lead and develop teamsWhat's on OfferCompetitive six figure salary and performance related bonus.Comprehensive benefits package (details to be provided).Direct exposure to senior leadership and influence over key business decisions.A broad, business-critical role spanning operational finance, strategy, and transformation.Opportunity to join a globally backed engineering group with strong market positioning.If you are a Finance Director looking to take the next step in your career, this is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact.
