Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsLead Independently a well known Die Casting businessFamily owned Group with different factories and industrial businessesAbout Our ClientOur client is an established industrial company operating in the metal casting sector.The company serves various customers through a customized model, combining technical expertise, production capabilities, and tailored solutions for customers across different application sectors.As part of a broader industrial group, the business is entering a new phase of development.Following a structured handover process, we are seeking a GM who will coordinate all business functions, strengthen the company's managerial structure, and lead its next stage of growth.Job DescriptionReporting to the Board of Directors, the General Manager will be responsible of the following tasks:Define and execute the company's strategy in line with Group policies, ensuring the achievement of financial, commercial, operational and organisational objectives;Assume full P&L responsibility, with a focus on profitability, investments and cash generation;Lead the organisation from the front and from the shopfloor, strengthening the existing structure and attracting new talent where required;Coordinate and optimize all operational, technical, and project-related activities, improving efficiency, execution quality, and alignment with business priorities;Prepare the annual budget and business plans for submission to the Board of Directors, ensuring accurate planning, monitoring, and reporting;Identify operational and organisational critical areas, implementing process improvement, automation, and industrial efficiency initiatives;Ensure the achievement of assigned targets in terms of margins, investments, production performance, and business development;Contribute to the expansion and diversification of the company's business lines, in response to the evolving needs of target markets and industrial sectors;Promote the introduction of a modern and structured organisational model, improving accountability, decision-making processes, and cross-functional collaboration;Sponsor and develop projects in the HSE area, strengthening the company's safety culture and operational standards.The Successful ApplicantA successful GM should have:Proven experience within the Die Casting industry, gained in senior General Management, Operations Director or Plant Director roles;Solid experience in complex metallurgic environments, with a strong operations-oriented background;Demonstrated responsibility for P&L management, budgeting, profitability, investments, and key industrial performance indicators;A strong track record in improving manufacturing processes, operational efficiency, automation, and organisational effectiveness;Sound understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment principles within complex industrial operations;Strong leadership, credibility, and authority, combined with the ability to engage, develop, and attract managerial and technical talent;Excellent analytical, decision-making, and interpersonal skills;The ability to interact effectively with Group stakeholders, customers, and strategic partners;A pragmatic and hands-on management approach, combined with a clear strategic perspective;English language proficiency is welcome.What’s on OfferA competitive salary package: 130.000 - 160.000 euro + bonusOpportunity to lead an established industrial company through a significant phase of growth and managerial transformation;Role with full P&L and organisational responsibility;Direct impact on the modernisation of processes, operating model, and management structure;Senior leadership position combining strategic responsibility with a strong influence on execution and organisational development.Please apply to be considered for this General Manager position.Unless you are applying for positions reserved for protected categories under Law 68/99 (in which case we only ask you to confirm that you belong to these categories, without any further information on your health or disability), your CV must not contain any information relating to your health status or to your belonging to a protected category, as this is not relevant to the assessment of your application.
