Job Description

  • Develop and implement the organisation's global IT strategy to support business goals.
  • Oversee the management and optimisation of IT infrastructure and systems.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of all IT systems and data.
  • Lead and manage IT teams across multiple locations to ensure efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement technology solutions.
  • Manage IT budgets and ensure cost-effective technology investments.
  • Keep updated on emerging technologies and recommend their adoption where relevant.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards in all IT practices.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Global IT Director should have:

  • Proven experience in managing IT operations within the Industrial / Manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and security measures.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
  • Experience in developing and implementing IT strategies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Fluency in English and Italian.
  • Educational background in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
