GM Manufacturing- Well-established FMCG (Malang Based)

Our client is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead its manufacturing operations in Malang, which serves as a critical production hub supporting the overall business. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will act as the senior-most leader on site and be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, governance, compliance, quality standards, and organizational effectiveness. The successful candidate will serve as the key link between the manufacturing site and Head Office, helping to drive performance, transparency, and alignment across the organization. The General Manager will lead the end-to-end operations of the manufacturing facility, overseeing production, R&D, QA/QC, warehousing, engineering, and other supporting functions. The role requires a strong operator and people leader who can independently manage site activities, foster a high-performance culture, and ensure the plant operates in line with company objectives, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. This opportunity is ideal for a senior manufacturing leader with a track record of managing large operational teams, driving continuous improvement, and building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:

• Site Operations, Governance & Leadership
  • Lead all manufacturing-site activities including production, R&D, QA/QC, warehousing, maintenance, and supporting functions.
  • Ensure operational excellence, quality standards, compliance, safety, and performance targets are consistently achieved.
  • Represent Head Office interests on-site and maintain strong governance, accountability, and organizational discipline.

• Stakeholder Management &Organizational Effectiveness
  • Act as the primary liaison between the Malang operation and Jakarta headquarters, providing transparent reporting and performance updates.
  • Build effective relationships with government authorities, regulatory bodies, labor representatives, and local communities.

• Quality, Compliance & Governance
  • Maintain the highest standards of quality, safety, regulatory compliance, and operational integrity across the site.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant BPOM, labor, environmental, health, safety, and company regulations.
