About Our Client

Our client is a fast-growing, Swiss technology company who is searching for a new Head Of Finance. Backed by a long-term private investor, the company has ambitious growth plans including market expansion, new product development, and international growth initiatives. This is a newly created role offering the opportunity to build the finance and operations function from the ground up. As a member of the leadership team, you will partner closely with the founders, board, and investors while helping shape the company's commercial and operational infrastructure.

Job Description

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial analysis
  • Oversee accounting, audit, tax, and banking relationships together with external providers
  • Establish robust financial controls and reporting processes
  • Prepare management, board, and investor reporting
  • Oversee corporate administration, back-office processes, and expense management
  • Support HR administration, payroll, onboarding, and recruitment activities
  • Drive process improvements and operational efficiency across the organization
  • Develop KPI frameworks and performance reporting
  • Support pricing, commercial modelling, and business planning
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives including market expansion, partnerships, and potential acquisitions
  • Build scalable systems, processes, and governance structures for future growth

The Successful Applicant

A successful CFO should have:

  • 10+ years of experience in a small to mid-cap environment within finance, preferably within technology, software, consulting, or high-growth businesses
  • Proven track record establishing finance processes, reporting, forecasting, and operational frameworks
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to operate effectively in a growing entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong commercial mindset and experience supporting pricing or business model development
  • Familiarity with Swiss accounting, payroll, and corporate administration
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English
