The Head of AI and Technology Policy will:· Lead the IoD's work on technology, digital and Artificial Intelligence (AI) policy at a pivotal moment for business and government.· Translate technological developments into practical insights and policy positions relevant to boards, directors and business leaders. The role is focused primarily on AI and Technology, particularly from the perspective of board governance, business adoption and policy development towards a favourable policy environment for directors.· Act as the IoD's advisor on AI and technology policy, helping to shape the organisation's positions on key issues affecting directors and businesses, while representing the IoD across government, industry and the wider AI & technology ecosystem.· Combine policy work, thought leadership and stakeholder engagement as well as organisational influence.
