Job Description

Commercial Technology Leadership

  • Lead the strategy, governance and delivery of commercial technology solutions across APAC
  • Drive scalable, future-ready platforms that support commercial growth and business transformation across the region.



Product Ownership & Delivery

  • Champion a product-centric operating model with end-to-end accountability for technology products.
  • Gather, challenge and prioritise business requirements to maximise value delivery.
  • Balance business needs with governance, architecture and compliance requirements.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure effective delivery against business objectives.
  • Drive the adoption of agile and modern product management practices.



Strategic Business Partnering

  • Act as a trusted advisor to commercial leadership teams across APAC.
  • Translate business objectives into scalable technology roadmaps and solutions.
  • Promote standardisation, reusability and best-practice sharing across markets.
  • Balance regional business requirements with global technology direction and standards.



Transformation & Value Creation

  • Lead digital transformation initiatives that enhance commercial performance and customer engagement.
  • Oversee significant technology investments and ensure measurable commercial outcomes.
  • Drive value realisation through improved productivity, efficiency and business impact.
  • Identify opportunities to incorporate AI and emerging technologies into commercial technology strategies.



Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead and influence cross-functional and cross-market teams within a matrix environment.
  • Build strong relationships with senior business and technology stakeholders across the region.
  • Foster collaboration across regional and global teams to drive successful execution and adoption.
  • Develop high-performing teams and strengthen organisational capabilities across APAC.

The Successful Applicant

A successful APAC Commercial IT & Data Director should have:

  • Proven leadership experience within Commercial IT, Business Solutions, Digital Technology, Product Management or Technology Business Partnering functions.
  • Strong track record of partnering with Sales, Marketing, Digital or Commercial teams.
  • Experience leading regional teams and large-scale transformation initiatives across APAC.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with exposure to senior leadership teams.
  • Experience operating within complex multinational organisations.
  • Product-centric mindset with the ability to bridge business and technology objectives.
