About Our Client

Our client for the President opportunity is a SMB private equity backed precision metal stamper serving automotive, commercial vehicle, and general industrial customers. This Tier 2 and 3 supplier has a long history has a US and Mexico location.

The President will be responsible for the overall P&L and leadership, strategic direction, financial performance and operational success of the organization. The President will be tasked with growing top line revenue and profitability driving the strategic direction of the business while also being active in the daily operations. This person will also lead this organization to a transaction. The President will report to the Private Equity ownership team.

The President will be responsible for the overall P&L and leadership, strategic direction, financial performance and operational success of the organization. The President will be tasked with growing top line revenue and profitability driving the strategic direction of the business while also being active in the daily operations. This person will also lead this organization to a transaction. The President will report to the Private Equity ownership team.

  • Develop and implement the company's strategic vision and business objectives
  • Identify opportunities for revenue growth, market expansion, and operational improvement.
  • Evaluate industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
  • Lead organizational change and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning with Finance
  • Ensure the company meets profitability, cash flow, and growth objectives.
  • Monitor key financial metrics and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Evaluate and approve major capital expenditures and investments.
  • Direct overall manufacturing operations to ensure safety, efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery.
  • Collaborate with the plant management teams of two manufacturing operations to optimize performance, driving Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and safety requirements.
  • Work with the Director of Sales to drive business development strategy, building and maintaining strong relationships with direct sales team, independent sales representatives and key customers.
  • Identify new markets and business opportunities.
  • Build, develop, and mentor the leadership team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish a schedule of regular (weekly) meetings or calls with all direct reports to discuss performance expectations and evaluate leadership effectiveness.
  • Support employee engagement, retention, and professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Oversee risk management, insurance, and business continuity planning.
  • Maintain customer-critical IATF 16949 and ISO14001 certifications through annual third-party audits.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing or Operations
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 15-20 years of industry experience in manufacturing, industrial, and automotive
  • Must have prior experience working at an automotive supplier
  • 10 years of experience is a Sr. leadership role leading a P&L of a small business, division, product line or segment
  • Strong financial and business acumen and strategic thinker
  • Prior commercial background leading sales and commercial teams growing revenue, expanding into new markets and applications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, CI, methodologies and Six Sigma highly preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast past environment

What’s on Offer

Competitive base salary $225,000 - $290,000 depending on experience, annual bonus, long term incentive, full benefits, 401K, vacation, holidays. Opportunity to lead a private equity backed manufacturing company to growth and a successful exit.
