Job Description

Based in Seoul, the Project Manager will join the Capital Projects team and lead the execution of projects across South Korea, from FEL-1/FEL-2/FEL-3 through engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and start-up. This is a highly visible role requiring a mature and credible project leader with strong technical and commercial acumen, capable of managing complex industrial projects and engaging effectively with customers, EPC contractors, suppliers and senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead projects through the full lifecycle, from FEL through engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up.
  • Own project scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and execution performance.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and interfaces with customers, EPC contractors, suppliers, and project partners.
  • Manage EPC contractors and key suppliers throughout project execution
  • Oversee procurement and delivery of critical equipment.
  • Proactively manage technical, commercial, schedule, and execution risks.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and senior stakeholders.
  • Support commissioning, start-up and performance testing while promoting safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
  • 15+ years of project management and/or capital project execution experience in complex industrial environments.
  • Proven experience across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and start-up.
  • Strong experience with EPC contractors, industrial customers, engineering organisations and equipment suppliers.
  • Experience in industrial gases, hydrogen, energy, refining, petrochemicals, steel, chemicals, LNG, industrial equipment or related sectors.
  • Strong commercial awareness, including project economics, contracts and change management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the maturity to engage with senior customers and partners.
  • Experience working with Korean industrial customers and EPC contractors is highly advantageous.
