Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsOpportunity to lead Data Product delivery in a large Bank.Must have proven experience of driving data products.About Our ClientA large international bank based in London.Job DescriptionData Product Director will work closely with colleagues across the Data Office, IT, and business functions ensuring consistency of delivery and governance, coordinating oversight, controls, and reportingLead the design and implementation of data products that align with organisational objectives.Lead the delivery and governance of data products across the organisationMaintain the data product roadmap and prioritisation processCollaborate to align Data Products delivery with the global strategyEnsure data products are delivered in line with agreed scope, timelines, and standardsEstablish and embed governance controls including ownership, stewardship, lineage, metadata, and data quality requirementsCoordinate approvals and reporting through relevant data governance and delivery forumsManage cross-functional stakeholders across business, data, and technology teamsTrack risks, issues, dependencies, and remediation actions across data productsEnsure data products are documented, controlled, and operationally sustainableMonitor adoption, quality, and business value realisation for delivered data productsDrive continuous improvement in data product delivery and governance processesThe Successful ApplicantA successful Data Product Director should have:Proven experience in leading data product development within the financial services industry.Strong understanding of data management, analytics, and governance principles.Ability to work collaboratively with technology and business teams.Experience in defining and executing product roadmaps.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.Ability to engage with stakeholders and manage expectations effectively.Experience in data delivery / programme deliveryUnderstanding of data product operating modelsGood knowledge of data quality, metadata, lineage, and control frameworksExperience operating in complex, matrixed organisationsWhat’s on OfferCompetitive salary ranging from £125,000 to £145,000, dependent on the level of experience.Standard benefits package.Permanent position based in London.If you're interested in this role, apply now.People are at the heart of Page.
