Job Description

  • Lead the company's financial strategy, providing insights and recommendations to drive profitability, operational efficiency and sustainable business performance.
  • Own budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Analyse financial performance, identify deviations and recommend corrective actions to achieve business targets.
  • Evaluate new business opportunities, capital investments and strategic initiatives from a financial perspective.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP and Mexican statutory requirements, working closely with Controllership.
  • Optimise cash flow and working capital, including liquidity, foreign exchange exposure and funding requirements.
  • Oversee key finance functions including FP&A, Credit & Collections, Accounts Payable and Tax, ensuring strong financial controls and risk management.
  • Ensure compliance with Mexican tax and regulatory requirements, including corporate income tax, VAT, transfer pricing and customs, coordinating with auditors, advisors and authorities when required.
  • Strengthen internal controls and ensure adherence to corporate policies, procedures and financial governance standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement across Finance through automation, stronger analytical capabilities and effective financial storytelling.
  • Lead, develop and build high-performing finance teams, strengthening technical capabilities and leadership succession.
  • Participate in commercial and investment decisions, including capital allocation, pricing and cost optimization initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years of progressive experience across finance, accounting, strategic planning, treasury and taxation.
  • Previous experience leading a Finance function or a significant business unit, ideally at CFO or Finance Director level.
  • Strong expertise in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and working capital management.
  • Solid knowledge of US GAAP, SOX 404 and Mexican Financial Reporting Standards (NIF).
  • Strong understanding of Mexican tax regulations, transfer pricing, customs and statutory compliance.
  • Experience evaluating capital investments and supporting strategic and commercial business decisions.
  • Proven ability to build, develop and lead high-performing finance teams.
  • Advanced English proficiency and experience working with ERP and business intelligence tools.
