Job Description

The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the operations in Spain, production, quality management, sales, HR, finance and IT.

  • She/he will contribute to mentor the organization for the next step, leading a transformation process that will include all the areas.
  • Lead and manage the overall operations in Spain, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes.
  • Ensuring continuous improvement on the quality of the products and establishing objective and transparent quality criteria and KPI´s.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the company´s digital presence and improve customer engagement.
  • Steering all production related processes and secure a highly efficient production as well as high product quality.
  • Coordinate and integrate all processes in the factory, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Manage HR functions, including recruitment, training and employee development.
  • Monitor and manage the financial performance of the operations, ensuring profitability and cost effectiveness.
  • Drive IT and digital initiatives to modernize and improve business processes. Support the implementation of the new ERP sytem.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment, motivating and leading the team to achieve company goals.
  • Manage relevant stakeholders such as suppliers, local authorities, industry partners.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standars.



The Successful Applicant

Education

Industrial Engineer or BA Degree.

Work Experience and Abilities

  • Solid experience as a General Manager or Industrial Director managing operations preferably in branded premium products
  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent leadership and communications skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team building and leading effective teams
  • Proven experience in transforming companies
  • Experience in M&A would be a plus
  • Solid finance understanding with experience in managing budgets and financial performance
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure
  • A team player with proactive and results-oriented approach, with a commitment on continuous improvement
  • Proficient in IT and digital technologies, with a focus on process improvement
