The successful candidate will drive strategy, oversee capacity-building and research initiatives, engage senior stakeholders, and ensure programmes remain relevant to evolving industry priorities, regulatory developments and technological change.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design and delivery of executive education, research and capability-building programmes.Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to a team of experienced specialists.Identify emerging trends and risks to shape future programme and research priorities.Build relationships with regional and international stakeholders, experts and partner institutions.Drive thought leadership through research, knowledge-sharing and executive forums.Oversee departmental planning, budgeting, resource allocation and operational effectiveness.The Successful ApplicantMaster's degree in economics, finance, banking, accounting or a related discipline.Approximately 20+ years of relevant professional experience.Proven leadership experience managing specialists and senior professionals.Deep expertise in financial stability, banking supervision and/or payments.Experience within a regulatory body, central bank, multilateral institution or similar environment.Strong track record in research, policy development, training or knowledge programmes.Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across diverse organisations.Strategic mindset with strong execution and organisational leadership capabilities.Excellent communication, presentation and relationship management skills.Demonstrated integrity, adaptability, innovation and commitment to talent development.What’s on OfferThis is a rare opportunity to influence capability development and thought leadership across a broad regional network.
