Job Description

  • Support the development and execution of the affiliate's medical strategy, ensuring strong alignment with business objectives and portfolio priorities.
  • Provide medical and scientific leadership, driving excellence, credibility and compliance across all medical activities.
  • Act as a strategic partner to cross-functional teams, contributing to key decisions through scientific insight and sound judgement.
  • Ensure the quality, consistency and integrity of medical deliverables, in line with regulatory, governance and patient safety requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, enhancing the medical function's impact and influence across the organisation.
  • Play an active role in strengthening the medical organisation, taking on increasing responsibility and supporting its long-term evolution.

The Successful Applicant

  • Medical Doctor (or equivalent) with a strong track record in the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry, combining deep scientific expertise with a solid understanding of the business environment.
  • Experience across Medical Affairs, Clinical Development and/or medical leadership functions, with the credibility to operate effectively across both scientific and strategic settings.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, compliance and scientific governance.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex organisations, build alignment and drive impact through collaboration and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent communication skills and a clear trajectory towards a wider medical leadership mandate within a structured and high-performing environment.
