Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Programme Lead - Insurance, Technology & Resilience to take ownership of a strategic transformation programme that combines digital innovation, stakeholder engagement, policy development and operational delivery. The programme has significant national impact and requires strong leadership to coordinate multiple workstreams, manage external delivery partners and ensure successful implementation across a broad stakeholder landscape.Reporting to a senior executive, the successful candidate will be responsible for programme mobilisation, governance, risk management, delivery planning and execution. They will act as the key point of coordination across internal teams, delivery partners and industry stakeholders, ensuring alignment, accountability and delivery against ambitious milestones.Programme Lead - Insurance, Technology & Resilience Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale, multi-workstream programme.
  • Establishing and maintaining robust programme governance, reporting and assurance frameworks.
  • Managing third-party suppliers, technology partners and external stakeholders.
  • Driving programme planning, dependency management, risk mitigation and issue resolution.
  • Supporting pilot activities, implementation phases and the rollout of new technology-enabled solutions.
  • Providing clear executive-level reporting and recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Building strong relationships across a diverse network of commercial, regulatory and industry stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal Programme Lead - Insurance, Technology & Resilience will be an accomplished Programme Lead, Transformation Director or senior programme leader with a proven track record of delivering complex strategic initiatives within highly regulated or stakeholder-rich environments.You will bring:

  • Significant experience leading large-scale transformation or change programmes.
  • Strong programme governance, risk management and assurance expertise.
  • Experience managing external suppliers, delivery partners and third-party relationships.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at executive level.
  • Experience delivering technology-enabled products, platforms or services.
  • Knowledge of delivering transformation within insurance
  • A collaborative leadership style, strong commercial awareness and the ability to operate effectively in complex, evolving environments.
