Job Description

Reporting into the Head of Sustainability Communications, you will lead a regional communications team responsible for delivering high-quality sustainability content and communications programmes across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, mentoring and developing a team of communications professionals while establishing best-in-class editorial standards and governance
  • Focused on hands-on execution in a fast-paced regional environment.
  • Overseeing the development, review and quality assurance of sustainability-related content, ensuring accuracy, consistency and alignment with corporate strategy.
  • Managing content production across sustainability reports, white papers, thought leadership pieces, executive presentations, speeches, media opportunities and stakeholder communications.
  • Acting as a trusted communications partner to senior sustainability leaders and executives, translating complex sustainability topics into engaging and credible narratives.
  • Supporting the development of executive content for C-suite leaders, including presentations, speaking engagements, articles and external appearances.
  • Partnering closely with sustainability, corporate affairs, legal, risk and business teams to ensure communication materials are accurate, defensible and aligned to organisational priorities.
  • Driving narrative consistency across regional markets while ensuring local relevance and stakeholder resonance.
  • Maintaining strong editorial oversight across internal and external channels, safeguarding quality, credibility and reputation.
  • Supporting strategic communications initiatives that strengthen the organisation's leadership position on sustainability, climate and long-term value creation.



The Successful Applicant



You are an experienced communications leader with a strong track record of developing executive-level content and translating complex subject matter into compelling stakeholder narratives.

You will likely bring:

  • Experience in corporate communications, sustainability communications, ESG communications, public affairs, corporate affairs or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience managing teams and influencing senior stakeholders within complex, matrixed organisations.
  • Strong writing, editing and storytelling capabilities, with experience developing reports, white papers, executive speeches and thought leadership content.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to challenge, interrogate and validate complex information and data before publication.
  • Experience supporting senior executives and preparing communications for high-profile internal and external engagements.
  • A strong understanding of sustainability, ESG, corporate responsibility or related topics, although deep technical sustainability expertise is not essential.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage senior leaders across functions and markets.
