Job Description

The Senior Vice President, Total Rewards will report into the Chief People Officer and lead a small team responsible for executive compensation, compensation governance, benefits strategy, and Total Rewards program effectiveness across the organization.

Duties listed and not restricted to:

  • Lead executive compensation strategy, governance, and compensation committee support activities
  • Own preparation and authorship of Compensation Discussion & Analysis (CD&A) disclosures and executive compensation sections of proxy filings
  • Design, administer, and oversee short-term and long-term incentive plans for senior executives
  • Partner with executive leadership and the Board's compensation committee on compensation strategy, benchmarking, and governance
  • Lead annual compensation planning cycles, including salary, bonus, equity, and executive rewards programs
  • Oversee benefits strategy, vendor management, and Total Rewards program effectiveness
  • Leverage analytics, automation, and artificial intelligence tools to enhance reporting, compensation modeling, and decision-making processes

The Successful Applicant

For the Senior Vice President, Total Rewards we are seeking:

  • 15+ years of progressive compensation and Total Rewards experience
  • Significant executive compensation expertise within a publicly traded company environment
  • Non-negotiable experience authoring Compensation Discussion & Analysis (CD&A) disclosures
  • Previous experience supporting a Board Compensation Committee or equivalent governance structure
  • Banking, financial services, or similarly regulated industry experience is required
  • Deep understanding of executive compensation regulations, governance practices, and proxy disclosure requirements
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and compensation benchmarking capabilities
  • Demonstrated success working in highly technical, innovation-focused organizations
  • Appreciation for artificial intelligence, automation, and technology-enabled operating models
  • Exceptional communication skills and executive presence
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, move quickly, and influence senior stakeholders
  • Motivated, resilient, and energized by high-performance environments where pace and accountability are expected
  • A hands-on leader who genuinely enjoys team leadership, mentorship, and talent development
