Maurits Sobels

Maurits brings more than 10 years of recruitment experience, specialising in the identification and appointment of commercial leaders across the Technology, FMCG and Electronics sectors.

Holding a degree in Media & Entertainment Management, Maurits began his career with specialist recruitment firms, where he developed a strong foundation in talent acquisition and client advisory. He subsequently joined Michael Page, building a successful track record over six years placing commercial talent across Sales, Marketing and Operations functions, with a particular focus on Technology and FMCG businesses.

Throughout his career, Maurits has partnered with management, director and C-level stakeholders, helping organisations attract and secure high-performing commercial leaders. His expertise spans a broad range of leadership mandates, supporting businesses through growth, organisational change and market expansion.

Known for his relationship-led approach, Maurits is regarded as a trusted adviser and sparring partner to both clients and candidates. He successfully led and expanded Michael Page's Sales & Marketing practice across the Amsterdam and Utrecht regions, supporting organisations in highly competitive talent markets and building long-term partnerships based on trust, quality and results.

Having rejoined Michael Page in 2026, Maurits is now part of the national Page Executive team. Working closely with colleagues across the Netherlands and Germany, he supports organisations in identifying and engaging outstanding commercial leaders within the Technology, FMCG and Electronics sectors.

Outside of work, Maurits enjoys spending time with his family, exploring the outdoors and taking long walks in nature.
