Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing the balance sheet to ensure efficient funding and asset utilization.
  • Execute treasury transactions related to money markets, foreign exchange, and funding activities within approved limits and delegated authority levels.
  • Monitor liquidity levels, funding requirements, and key balance sheet indicators to maintain compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
  • Identify and manage interest rate, liquidity, and foreign exchange risks, escalating any breaches or exceptions in a timely manner.
  • Support adherence to U.S. regulatory frameworks relating to liquidity and interest rate risk management, including LCR and IRRBB requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with treasury dealing standards, governance practices, and internal controls.
  • Produce accurate management information reports and analytical insights for Treasury leadership, Country Management, and Head Office.
  • Contribute to Asset and Liability Committee (ALCO) reporting by providing meaningful liquidity, balance sheet, and risk analysis.
  • Participate in liquidity stress testing and contingency funding planning initiatives as required.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with banks, brokers, and other financial counterparties.
  • Ensure full compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and internal procedures.



Operating Environment and Stakeholder Management

  • Operate within the Bank's established policies, procedures, risk appetite framework, and delegated authority structure.
  • Support the implementation of U.S. Treasury strategy across liquidity management, funding, and ALM activities.
  • Work closely with Country Management, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and the Head Office Funding Centre to deliver effective treasury operations, regulatory compliance, and balance sheet management.



Problem Solving and Analysis

  • Monitor key ALM metrics and regulatory ratios to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Evaluate balance sheet trends and liquidity positions to identify risks, opportunities, and optimization strategies.
  • Utilize management information, market intelligence, and financial analysis to support informed funding and liquidity decisions.



Decision-Making AuthorityExecute ALM, liquidity, and funding activities within approved mandates and delegated limits. Support the Head of Treasury in managing the U.S. entity's balance sheet, liquidity profile, and funding requirements while maintaining compliance with risk appetite guidelines and regulatory obligations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in Treasury and Asset Liability Management.
  • Strong understanding of market risk management, financial markets, and macroeconomic indicators.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and a disciplined approach to risk and compliance management
