A leading international luxury hospitality group is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Engineering to oversee technical operations across a portfolio of high-end hotels and associated facilities, spanning several destinations.This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring operational excellence, asset performance, and the highest standards across multiple properties.

Job Description

  • Oversee engineering and maintenance operations across several properties and destinations
  • Ensure optimal performance of all technical systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, energy management)
  • Implement and manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs
  • Lead CAPEX projects including renovations, upgrades, and new developments
  • Manage and optimize departmental budgets (OPEX & CAPEX)
  • Drive energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives across the portfolio
  • Lead, develop, and manage a team of technicians, ensuring high performance and engagement
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, legal, and environmental regulations
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership, property teams, and external partners



The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Facility Management or a related field
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in a similar leadership role, ideally within luxury hospitality
  • Strong technical expertise in building systems and multi-site operations
  • Proven experience in project management and budget control
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Fluent in English, French and or German a are an asset
  • Hands-on, adaptable, and solution-oriented mindset
