Job Description





  • Define and execute the regional Digital Engineering strategy for Iberia, ensuring alignment with global objectives and governance.


  • Lead the transition to a unified regional engineering operating model, overseeing end‑to‑end capabilities across Development, QA, and DevOps.


  • Drive improvements in productivity, quality, time‑to‑market, and cost efficiency through clear KPIs, service levels, and security‑by‑design principles.


  • Manage financial discipline, shared capabilities, AI‑enabled engineering practices, and strategic partners across the region.


  • Design and support organizational and workforce evolution, including team leadership, talent development, and upskill/reskill initiatives.


  • Act as a senior regional stakeholder, sponsoring strategic investments, providing technical input to business decisions, and reporting progress to the regional governance body.

The Successful Applicant



Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in senior engineering or technology leadership roles within complex, international environments.
  • Proven experience leading organizational transformations, including the reorganization and integration of large, multi‑team and multi‑country engineering organizations.
  • Solid background managing end‑to‑end digital engineering functions (Development, QA, DevOps) and working with distributed teams and external partners.



Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
  • Postgraduate education or certifications in management, leadership, or digital transformation will be considered an advantage.

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business objectives into scalable technology and operating models.
  • Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities, with a clear focus on team engagement and development.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder‑management skills at executive and cross‑functional levels.
  • High adaptability and resilience in fast‑changing, transforming environments.
  • Strong analytical and collaborative approach, with a clear internal customer and service orientation.
  • Fluent English is required. Knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is highly valued.
