Job Description

Directly reporting to the Managing Director, successful applicant will be responsible for;

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet organizational objectives.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost, and delivery standards are met.
  • Lead contract negotiations and ensure compliance with legal and company policies.
  • Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement goals with business needs.
  • Oversee procurement budgets and monitor spending efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to ethical purchasing practices and sustainability goals.
  • Mentor and develop the procurement team to enhance overall performance.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Procurement Director should have:

  • A strong educational background in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in procurement processes within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
  • Exceptional negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of procurement software and tools.
  • Familiarity with legal and ethical standards in procurement.
  • Outstanding leadership and team development abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
