The project is managed within a global, multicultural environment and coordinated with HQ functions, PMO, contractors, and technical suppliers.Job DescriptionAs part of a project leadership team, the group is looking for an individual to manage the project controls discipline for the project in Bremerhaven.Implement, maintain and drive the transparent application of the group project management and control tools by the project team itself and its consultants, contractors and suppliers.Obtain and maintain scope, schedule, quality control and budget baselines.Ensure correct and timely reporting with all internal and external stakeholders (technical, HQ, corporate counterparts, contractors & suppliers etc)Controls & Governance: Implement project controls and project procedures to manage the construction, delivery of equipment and project IT & automation proactively.Track project progress against the approved baselines and, where appropriate, ensure issues are proactively addressed, resolved and/or escalated and reported.The Successful ApplicantWith a background in Civil Engineering or equivalent under qualifications, minimum 10+ years in project controls for large capital projects.Proven track track record complex project environment (brown- or greenfield plant)Proven leadership experience and track record of managing teams & stakeholders on major infrastructure programmes.Certified Project Management (PRINCE2, PMP etc) and proven track record managing project baselines, performance metrics, and governance structures.Strong expertise with project control systems (e.g., PMWeb, Aconex, Proliance) and scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project).Strong communication skills with ability to present effectively to senior internal and external stakeholders.English fluency required; German conversational (min.
