Job Description

With a regional reporting line to the APAC Commercial Director (expat), the Sales Director will be the most role senior employee based in South Korea and will be responsible for defining and executing the South Korea growth strategy, driving sales performance, enhancing route-to-market effectiveness, and leading organisational development initiatives. The role combines strategic planning, commercial leadership, and transformation responsibilities.Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute national sales strategies to achieve revenue, profit, and market share objectives.
  • Lead distribution, channel development, and strategic account management initiatives.
  • Drive market analysis, competitive intelligence, and business planning activities.
  • Oversee sales forecasting, performance management, and full commercial P&L accountability.
  • Lead business model transformation and route-to-market evolution initiatives.
  • Build, develop, and inspire a high-performing commercial team.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of commercial leadership experience within a multinational environment.
  • Experience within automotive aftermarket - Cars, Vans, SUVs, motorcycles (tires, filters, oil, lubricants, parts, accessories, trucks, buses)
  • Demonstrated success delivering business growth and market share expansion.
  • Strong knowledge of B2B and B2C sales channels.
  • Proven experience managing distributors, channel partners, and key accounts.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with P&L ownership.
  • Experience leading organisational change, business transformation, or market expansion initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership capabilities.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience leveraging digital sales and analytics tools.
