Job Description

  • Transaction Execution: Assist in sourcing, structuring, and closing financing deals across the Energy, Heavy Transportation, and Digital Infrastructure sectors, ensuring consistency with investment strategy and risk framework. Take the lead on financial modeling, deal structuring, and due diligence processes.
  • Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain sophisticated project and structured finance models to evaluate deal viability, analyze risks, and ensure transactions meet investment standards.
  • Research and Due Diligence: Drive in-depth research and due diligence in collaboration with investors and origination partners to support deal sourcing and execution. Keep up to date with industry developments in energy markets, including data centers, natural gas, renewable energy, and electrification.
  • Deal Sourcing and Evaluation: Source and assess infrastructure and energy investment opportunities through market analysis, professional networks, and data-driven insights. Prepare investment materials-such as memos, teasers, and presentations-that combine analytical modeling with strategic insights.
  • Portfolio Monitoring: Oversee the performance of existing investments using real-time analytics and forecasting tools. Conduct scenario analyses on factors such as commodity price fluctuations, regulatory changes (e.g., IRA incentives), and climate-related risks to inform optimization strategies or exit decisions.
  • Risk Management: Identify, model, and manage risks related to operational issues, regulatory changes, and macroeconomic conditions, while ensuring adherence to ESG guidelines and internal policies.

The Successful Applicant



  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline required; an MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.


  • Experience:
    • 3-6 years of experience in private credit, project finance, investment banking, private equity, or consulting, with at least 2-3 years focused on infrastructure or energy sectors. Prior buy-side experience or technical advisory work on energy projects is highly desirable.
    • Demonstrated experience supporting or leading transaction execution, including structuring loans, mezzanine capital, or innovative financing solutions for industrial projects.
    • Strong expertise in financial modeling, risk analysis, and due diligence for large-scale infrastructure or industrial deals.
    • Experience with tax equity structures and renewable energy investments is a plus.


  • Technical Skills:
    • Ability to structure and execute transactions that address financing gaps while maintaining project feasibility.
    • Advanced proficiency in project finance modeling and a solid understanding of the legal frameworks governing project finance.
    • Familiarity with energy technologies (such as solar PV, wind generation, battery storage, and CCGT plants) and analytical techniques (e.g., levelized cost of energy, dispatch optimization) is preferred.
    • Demonstrates a commitment to continuous self-development and a passion for mentoring others.


  • Analytical Skills: Proven ability to develop complex financial models from the ground up, perform sensitivity and scenario analyses, and translate technical findings into practical investment recommendations.


  • Soft Skills: Strong communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments. Highly detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.


  • Other Requirements: Must have authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
