This role will have ownership of standard costing, inventory valuation, margin analysis, and close partnership with manufacturing and supply chain leaders. Main duties and responsibilities include the following:Lead all cost accounting activities including standard cost development, inventory valuation, and variance analysisPartner with operations and supply chain teams to understand cost drivers and improve marginsManage cost accounting close processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and reportingAnalyze manufacturing variances and provide clear explanations to senior finance and operational leadershipMaintain bill of materials, routings, and labor standards within the ERP systemSupport annual budgeting and forecasting from a cost and margin perspectiveEnsure compliance with US GAAP and internal control requirementsParticipate in physical inventory counts and cycle count programsDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost visibility, controls, and efficiencyLead and develop junior accounting staff as the team grows.Please note that this role is 100% on-site.
